Michael Stern

Michael E. Stern is an accomplished commercial photographer, published author and is today a popular instructor at a variety of educational institutions throughout Southern California. Michael first picked up a camera at age 12 and after turning the family bathroom into a darkroom, he taught himself traditional B&W wetlab processes for film and print. Continuing with his photography education, he enrolled at Art Center College of Design and graduated with a BFA in 1979. Michael maintained a commercial co-op studio in Burbank for 16 years where he conducted business with most of the major motion picture studios: The Walt Disney Company, Warner Brothers, Universal Studios, Paramount Studios and Sid & Marty Krofft Pictures have all punched his dance card at one time or another. Today he spends his time teaching, writing and occasionally shooting for a select group of business professionals.
