Students are encouraged to maintain private insurance during their time at LAAFA. If enrolled students do not have insurance through a parent, spouse or employment, the American College Student Association offers college students a voluntary Injury and Sickness plan at a reasonable cost. For further information, please contact them directly by phone at (888) 526-2272 or visit www.acsa.com. LAAFA does not assume financial responsibility for outside health treatment facilities, physical or mental.
Immunizations
The Health Center recommends immunizations for all students. The California Department of Public Health recommends immunization for Mumps and Varicella (Chickenpox), Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis, and Meningitis. It is also suggested that students receive a seasonal flu shot.
Students with Disabilities
LAAFA is committed to ensuring that all students are given every opportunity to succeed. Any student with diagnosed disabilities is encouraged to identify themselves to the Administration Office. Our school facility is in compliance with the Disabilities Act of 1990.
